Okay, so I’m more than a little excited that I discovered Fellowstream’s very first customer review.  Click here to read his thoughts.   Scionwest is a game developer and knows his fair share of programming.  He found out about us through Jacob and my past affiliations with the Torque Game Engine series.   (Quick plug: If you’re looking for game dev software, Torque’s a solid product with a ton of support.)

Ah, the excitement of hanging around game developers!

So why am I excited?  Well, of course it’s nice that Scionwest has a bunch of good things to say about us.  But more importantly, Scionwest has given us a ton of feedback.  Not only did he write this review, he’s also been chatting with me via e-mail over the weekend.  Here are some of his suggestions for Fellowstream:

  • The ability to see how many days or hours it took to complete a Ticket would be nice.
  • I was trying to find someway to view all the tickets assigned to a group and I haven’t been able to see anyway to do so. That would be another nice feature to have.
  • I believe using Groups is very important for a app like this and I like how it’s done. Perhaps if it confuses people you could look at changing how it’s current implementation works, but I feel it should definitely remain as a key part of the software.

He also reported a bunch of bugs, which is great too.  We use Fellowstream all the time, but there’s no way we could possibly catch everything given that different sized groups have different impacts on the site.

And Scionwest must be a lucky guy too.  Over the course of the weekend, we saw more sign-ups and have corresponded with more people than we have in the previous two weeks combined.  We’re getting a lot more hits to the site, and the same people are really beginning to use Fellowstream more often, meaning we’re doing something right.

So thanks to Scionwest and everyone else who’s tried Fellowstream over the past few months.  We’re really taking off now, and it’s great to hear more and more feedback from people who use us.
