Part of creating a good task and team management system is that the layout needs to be familiar.  Now that we’re within spitting distance of launching a closed beta of Fellowstream, we have a pretty comprehensive list of icons that we use through Fellowstream’s many streams, including the Workspace and Project Systems.  Check out a few examples of the many icons we use on the site:

Your Workspace needs several icons (including the edit icon, shown above) for easy manipulations of your task list.

Streams use icons (shown on the right) to denote what kind of changes you’re making to your task list.

Are you a talented web designer?  Love small vector art?  We’re looking for someone to help us create 45 icons for Fellowstream.  If you’re interested, please check out our design contest at 99 Designs or e-mail me directly at deborah@fellowstream.com.  We’re not looking for extremely bright or gaudy icons, but they should be able to stand out. Softer colors are preferred for everything but the delete/canceled icons, in which case a stronger color is preferred (like red).
