If there’s ever a moment where any entrepreneur feels good about hours of work, it’s when they have the opportunity to sit down with a satisfied customer and chat.  I recently got to do that in a public way with Jon Filitti at ResourcesUnite!  Jon has been a Fellowstream user since our beta days and is not only a paying customer, but it is using it to manage Crossroads Counseling Center.

ResourcesUnite! isn’t your run-of-the-mill project.  It’s has the large and noble of goal of not only bringing together social services in the Dubuque, Iowa area, but to raise more awareness for people needing such services.  Their mission statement of “Directory, Analyze, Awareness, Activism” aims to better the health and lives of their entire community.  For me, it was quite an honor to be asked to talk with a group dedicated not only to being more productive, but to do so in a way that has a huge impact on the lives of the people around them.

Unfortunately, not included in the podcast is the “after chat” Jon and I had about his career, mine, and what it means to be an entrepreneur.  I’ve got a lot of thoughts rolling around in my head from that conversation, though, and I’m sure I’ll type it into a blog sooner or later.  (Thanks for stirring up the ol’ brain cells, Jon!)
